Brass not good at home either

Kansas City Brass

The Kansas City Brass were drilled 5-0 by the Thunder Bay Chill Sunday afternoon.  KC were held to just 5 shots during the rain soaked game.  The loss puts KC at 4-1-3, their first loss since starting out 0-0-2, and are now tied for second in the Heartland Division.  St Louis Lions are atop the standings and have yet to suffer a defeat.  KC next play Des Moines on the 21st.

Wizards Reserves

The Reserves started off like the senior team against the Crew on Sunday.  Columbus scored two early goals.  Ryan Pore finished a cross to bring one back before halftime.  In the second half Matt Marquess drew a penalty which was converted by Pore and that evened the game up at 2-2.   KC had the run of the game for most of the second half.  There was some outstanding play by Espinoza, Morsink and Marquess.  But unfortunately the Crew snatched a 3rd goal and handed KC their first Reserves defeat of the season.  KC are now 2-2-1 (WDL).
