KC Kings fall at Internationals (Update)

KC had to face host Fredricksburg but fell 11-6 on late 3-point goal in close match.  From the Kings MySpace page, KC was their own worst enemy with many missed opportunities.

Update: Final results here.  After beating KC, Fredrickburg lost to Waza FC (Detroit) by the score of 12-2.  Asylum FC of Albuquerque beat Monterrey and played against Waza FC in the Final.  The experienced Waza FC was the big winner over Asylum, winning 21-12 to capture the 2008 title.

Congrats to the Kings on a great inagural season.  Overall they went 9-1-2.  I look forward to next season.

Good job to the KC team for the first year hope they come back for a long team. Cheap entertainment for the two son’s and I and not bad soccer.
