We have the writeup from Hillcrest Road on the KC game against Velez Sarsfield. More than just one player went for more than 45 minutes today. KC started out with 3-5-2 though it looks like they switched to a 4-4-2 at the start of the second half.
VS got the scoring first and Ryan Pore answered 8 minutes later(21st). It went Marinelli to Sealy to Pore who won a 1v1 with the keeper. KC fell behind in the 38th and trailed 2-1 at the half. Eloy Colombano, whe came on in the 30th minute was involved in both late goals. He hit a left-footed curving upper 90 shot to tied the game at 2 all in the 84th. Then just 3 minutes later Eloy delivered the cross that DiCicco headed in for a 3-2 victory.
Starters for the game: Hartman, Jewsbury, Conrad, Wahl. Midfield were those we have normally seen there: Zavagnin, Morsink, Myers, Harrington and Marinelli. Up top were Sealy and Pore. In the 30th Colombano replaced Scott Sealy. At the half it was Kronberg for Hartman, Hohlbein for Wahl and Leathers for Myers – thus going to 4-4-2. There were 5 changes at the 60th minute: Lowery for Jewbury, Souter for Zavagnin, Kraus for Marinelli, McKenzie for Harrington. Kurt Morsink played all 90.
Is Victorine hurt? He has not yet appeared in any of the scrimmages/games. Also Ryan McMahen has not played yet in Argentina, however, he did hurt his ankle at the same practice that Espinoza was hurt at. So maybe his injury is worse than thought. And, no Lance Watson in lineup today and Ivan Trujillo was sleeping.
